Driving Through the Town Quilt Pattern

Beep Beep! Buckle up your seat belts and get ready to drive through the town.

Here is a fun quilt pattern for kids which can be used as a great playmat too. Let the kids have fun as they wroooom through a shop, gas station, cafe, school, and houses to go meet their friends. A great gift to let the child’s imagination run and have endless hours of fun!

This pattern is ideally suited for machine applique. For those of you, who would rather appliqué by hand, please remember to add your seam allowance when tracing the templates.

This pattern is for the center panel. I have included instructions for assembling the quilt panel(background and road) and included templates for the buildings, trees, and children. You can place the applique pieces as per your choice. I would recommend you to add wide borders of your choice to the panel to make a good size quilt.

This pattern will make a panel of 36×40 inches (The final quilt size can be increased by adding a wide border.)
